? Rachel is an angel sent from realtor heaven! From the very start, she made us feel heard and at ease about the crazy process; we started looking for a house in 2021. My husband and I wanted to rent a property for at least one year, to allow us the opportunity to get to know the area before purchasing a home. I struggled to find a realtor that would be of any assistance to us given we were only a rental client at the time. I talked to at least 10 different agents, but none were willing to help us. I left multiple messages, Leanne actually called us back! Leanne was immediately without any hesitation willing to assist us in any way possible. She started searching for properties for us and then took it a step further, and offered to take a simple ride to the interested property to give us feedback of the area. She then, to my surprise ,scheduled an inside viewing of the interested property. Leanne immediately called us back after viewing the first rental property and said she had even her own pictures! We too soon found out that the pictures posted of rentals are NOT always quite as shown online. We were all set to take the first property, as it had everything we were looking for. As a result of this, we have been able to enjoy our transition and so enjoy this move that we have so anticipated for so long without the distraction of being in a place we can not wait to get out of. From the beginning I told Michelle that I didn't fully understand the buying/selling process because it can be complicated. I had a tight timeline and only had 2 weeks before I had to be in Houston, TX to start a new job. She never faltered in providing answers to questions and advising as we went along in the process. She then coordinated all the repairs (we were not local) and had them done quickly and efficiently all while communicating with us the entire time. She had the condo listed and it sold quickly and the negotiation was smooth and successful--thanks to Dana. Six months later (Spring of 2020), we found ourselves moving back to Charlotte because of the pandemic and she was quick to find us (and then walk through and FaceTime us from) several short term rental homes that met our needs--and this was especially impressive given how few were on the market and how crazy the timing was with the pandemic. We began to look at houses at Lake Norman following a family vacation there the summer of 2019. While on vacation Kelly showed us a number of places that were possibilities, always listening to what we wanted, and not just truing to sell us something. You will hear others say that it’s a stressful time, there’s lots to do, lots of paperwork, lots of people coming and going; and that their agent is also highly recommended. But I want to tell you the difference with Sheri. Sheri’s integrity is outstanding! She was my selling agent, but regardless, is following through with commitments to the ‘buyer’, even though the closing is complete. Integrity is when you do what’s right for both sides regardless. We had a small glitch with new windows and doors (that were paid for prior) but still hadn’t been delivered/installed. The buyers accepted the situation (with documentation) knowing that they were coming. And even with the closing completed, Sheri continues to follow up on the windows and doors. In her eyes, it’s not finished until ALL the details are followed through with. But the most outstanding characteristic of Sheri is her heart. For me it wasn’t about the stress or paperwork. For me it was about the emotion. I didn’t want to sell, but my granddaughter, who had been living with me for years, moved back in with her mother (this was a good thing). My house had been on the market for 200 days with another realtor before Libby came on the scene. To be fair, the For Sale sign went on my lawn the day everything closed because of Covid. Libby had taught both of my grandchildren and she asked if she could help me as I was in despair. She became my realtor and did everything she could to sell the house. She used technology, she used contacts and stayed with me the entire way until we SOLD the house. I cannot recommend her highly enough. To give you an example, I am in my eighties and when she became my realtor she cleaned my house since it had been on the market for so many days. I began a random search on realtor.com site and found Will Sheppard from NextHome.
